Hey all- Getting a chance to catch up on some recent work- up here is a 2013 Pearl White GTR that recently was given to me for a single step correctional + paint sealant app- the GTR had several areas on the body where the protective film adhesive had "stained" the clear. This GTR recently was detailed closer to spring time and somehow these "stains" were missed and not addressed. Correctional shots are not provided- did not have access to an SLR that day- point and shoot could not focus in enough to catch marring, fine line swirls etc. on arrival- fresh off the track Road warrior film had been applied- removal Heavy brake dust Jams needed attention Interior Entire rear end was near gray in color Tips Motor before Interior was vac'd and blown out, dusted down with SV boars hair, leather cleaned and conditioned with leatherique, hard plastic areas cleaned and degreased, mats extracted Interior mats had factory plastic present- how was this missed previously? Mats extracted Removing Nismo academy vinyl- to be mounted on cardboard and given to client to keep as a souvenir More road warrior removal Left over adhesive from the track event Towel soaked in 3m adh. remover + plastic blade and...solved Wash process- Sonax FE used heavily on these wheels Agitation Washed two bucket- Dawn/ CG Citrus wash mix- lambswool mitts, dried and pulled inside for inspection You can faintly see one of the numerous areas around the body where the adhesive "stained the clear" - notice in the reflection of the LED lamp you can see some haziness.... On the front end: Correction was done via Rupes 21/ PC and various plates- orange foam + Sonax PF The client was a recent Op. Iraqi Freedom vet- I through 22PLE on the front bumper/ hood for him as a thank you to his service! Sealing the wheels Gtechniq T1 on all seals, trim and sidewalls- loving this product Finished wheel/ tire shot Tips were hit with decon gel, P21s polishing soap, Opt metal polish What I could get for afters- apologies but SLR not available and time was of concern Here is that area where the clear was slightly stained/ ghosted if you will- cleared right up with one pass Menz PL as LSP- nice gloss for a pearl white color Outside GTR lead engineer signature Thanks for viewing Dan

nice clean up! gotta love that white pearl on the GT-R body. Great to see the 22PLE for a war vet, one of my collector customers is holding an event benefiting the soldiers, I donated a full detail for a vet, glad to see other people helping out! Thanks for sharing.
