I'd have to say that Lusso Oro is very good on light colored cars, as well as metallic cars.

I can't speak for Souveran, although I'm sure I will pick some up soon enough at the rate I am buying stuff! :gasp:

I have them both and they are VERY similar in application and removal. For some reason, and I still cannot figure out why, but Lusso did NOT have any durability for me and I was disappointed by the beading. However, others have seen decent durability and fantastic beading.

I'll have to five it another try...

Both very nice waxes, but Oro is cheaper!

Pretty much a toss up. I've used them both and liked them. Both are very nice. You'll be happy with either.

Happiness is so illusive, isn't it? I guess we are all on the quest to find that perfect wax which will make us perfectly happy. All the Vintage owners seem to be so happy. Are we lesser beings doomed? :)

My best guess is that it's not worth the trouble. Someday you might as well buy some Oro, or, if you want a sample, I'd be happy to provide.

I personally think that the difference between the two is negligible.

Don't bother. Keep the Souveran and take advantage on Lusso Oro (if you still want to) when Phil does a BOGOF on it...

If I was to purchase any wax at this point, it would be Victoria Red. Many great reviews.

Since we are off the 2 in the original post now, I'll recommend Rubbish boys OE. GREAT wax. And with the exchange rate right now, you can get a pot for about 60 bucks.
