Well after 20 years of mobile detailing I figured it's time to set up shop in a more permanent location so my buddy Ron and I have been looking for a good while now for a nice place and a few weeks ago we came across such a place. It's close to all my doctors and the Porsche center where I do a lot of cars. It's almost 1900 square feet, has an upstairs loft area, 2 bathrooms, A/C, heating and an office. We have 4 roll up doors, 2 in the front of the shop and 2 to the rear. We will be holding some detailing seminars for local car clubs plus we will soon offer detail training, clear bra training and also paintless dent repair training. Now the tile floors in the office and bathroom need to be replaced as well as both toilets plus some paint work needs to get done soon also but we worked all weekend to get the shop in order enough to get some cars in there are begin generating money. This space had been empty for over a year I believe so it was pretty messy. Here are a few pictures and I'll also update them as we progress forward. These are the 2 roll up doors towards the front of the shop. This is the rear of the shop with the other 2 roll up doors. This is our office/customer area. This is a picture of the shop taken from the upstairs loft area. Getting everything organized. Some pads and products. Our dent tools plus larger stuff. We still have 2 more shelves and a workbench still to get in the shop. These are various samples sent to me by Doctor G. for testing.
Today we had our first detail come in. An Audi RS6 which will get a full detail plus a clear bra. Then we got an Artic Silver Porsche in for a full detail, bumper repair and also a clear bra. I'll have a few more pics up soon, Thanks
This thread's tittle has been modified and will be watched very carefull as it's border line advertising your services. I will let Nica decide what he want's to do with this thread but till then Anthony please do not promote/advertise your services as you do not have right to do so here at Detailing Bliss. Consider this a warning and like I said Nica will make the final call.
dude that's awesome!!! hey I know i've asked you this, but you're in San Antonio right? Don't know what that's all about....
Looking good Anthony, keep us posted with more pictures. (Also, not sure how the post is borderline advertising vs. a LOT of threads I see on here.) Keep up the good work!
No fun man, just work....work, work No time for fun.....well cept for a large screen TV and game console but I consider that part work! Thanks for the compliment. Thanks! Thank you very much....it's been a long time waiting.
You have every right to edit this thread as you wish as I am just a guest here and I understand there are rules but I don't believe I have violated any rules here....at least I have not done anything I have not seen others do also, obviously 2 wrongs never make a right so I may have violated my own logic in that thinking. Others name their threads in the click and brag sections with their business name, I have seen other guys post up pictures of their trucks, vans and shops yet mine gets edited? I find that odd......BUT I also understand there are rules. Yet should not rules be a standard for all posters across the board? Anthony
yeah i don't understand the warning either.... oh whats his face, Paul Daulton posted a big thread about his fan and i don't remember him getting a warning, and im pretty sure he's not a DB supporter. not trying to stir the pot, but if you're gonna do it to one, do it to all
Thank you very much! Thanks. Yes we wash cars inside the shop but we utilize a rubber mat to catch the run off and then pump it into the sink. Most of our cars though are washed using ONR, as these 2 cars in the pictures were done. We give them a No Rinse first, buff them out up to the step just before the last final polishing step and then pressure wash the wheels and wells, clean engine using a steam vapor cleaner and then give it one more No Rinse wash, dry it and proceed with the final polishing step and then seal the paint. Anthony
I'm happy for you. It's been a long time comming and your hard work has paid off...Good for you...:worship2:
Thanks guys :thumb: I appreciate the well wishes..... wouldn't ya know it though...it's raining!!:laughing: Anthony
The new place looks awesome Anthony. Good luck in all your endevours. I look forward to more pics of the shop.
First of all Anthony, congrats on the new shop :applause: It's a great feeling having your own place to do all your details in :thumb: Now regarding: I talked to DB Boss and if I understood correctly the issue was on the tittle of your thread, you used your company name on the tittle and it goes agains this rule: http://www.detailingbliss.com/forum/f29/amendment-rules-1818.html Now there have been other members posting using there company name and most of the time I edit there threads...but I do miss some in some cases. Any who point is that unless your a DB Pro Sponsor here at Detailing Bliss your not allowed to promote your company name. Paul Dalton is actually a DB Supporter here, he just refuses to take the tittle . He's paid for the tittle but he didn't care for it..but seeing as it's creating confusion I'll be upgrading his account so everyone knows he's supporting the forum.
