When you apply wax by hand on an applicator, do you go in small overlapping circles or a back and forth motion?

I usually go back and forth but it really takes a toll on my hands (I have weak hands, LoL). I think I'm going to start applying my LSPs with the PC and a red 4" pad.

I'll tell you what man, nothing beats applying 845 on a white 6.5 inch pad. Goes on thin automatically and you can literally wax the car in like 10-15 minutes. I wish more pots were machine friendly.

I've applied 1Z glanzwax with a PC before.

I,ve done circles and back&forth. It depends on the wax and the vehicle.

How'd it turn out vs. hand application?

Can be put on thinly since it is a liquid wax. Worked good for me. Just buffed it off with some nice towels.

476 is very friendly with 4in pads. I used a black one and it worked quite well. I just soaked it in water then spun dry with PC and went to town with it :thumb:

To get the wax on the pad I put it in the can then turned it on on speed 1 for like 1 second. That primed the pad very well :headbang:

It doesn't matter. Either way is fine.

Back and forth. I'm terrified to touch my paint in any kind of circular motion. [IMG]

Correct- its only important that you apply an abrasive product 'back and forth', if you apply an abrasive in circular motions you'll etch ....circles

I prefer the Miagy two handed wax on wax off method followed up by chopping ice with my bare hands.

Do you take the krane position after wax on wax off and kick the car too??? You are way to funny:thumb:
