In SoCal you can get staff locally from Chemical Guys and Excel Detail.

I get my goodies from my wife

I get most of my detailing supplies from DetailersDomain and autodetailingsolutions.

We all get stuff from DD, but I think he was also asking for local stores.

I'm lucky to have Majestic Solutions - a local place that makes many of their own chemicals - right down the road from me. They keep Edge pads in stock too, and for most things like that, are well priced.

I bought my Makita rotary on Amazon.com. I always check amazon.com first before making a large-ish purchase, and I usually find they have great prices and super fast shipping.

For LSP, the last stuff I bought was from Ben at Rubbish Boy's. He's in England, and AFAIK he's the only guy you can get Rubbish Boy's Original Edition from. Shipping takes about a week.

For pretty much everything else, Phil at Detailer's Domain gets my vote. Great service and prices, super fast shipping, and I know that anything I buy from him is going to work well. His e-store is also very well laid out, it's easy to find what you're looking for on it.

As far as a local store, an auto paint and body supply store will often stock Meguiar's and 3M stuff. That's where I usually buy mine.

We also have Richard Lin (OctaneGuy) located in Placentia. He carries the full line of Prima products and hes always ready to give a newbie a tip. Prima isn't that bad either, I use it in place of SIP and they're pretty close in terms of cut and LSP ready...ness...lol

Super Autobacs has some 1Z, 3M, and Meguiars stuff so its always worth the trip. Harbor Freight has come kick ass bottles that I'm going to post up pretty soon as a recent purchase :)

I always visit Super Autobacs whenever I return to SoCal, hehe. When I was down there, I managed to pick up some of the Soft99 paste waxes, hehe.

Unfortunately they stopped carrying that brand Denz. Sucks since I wanted to try them out too...

Good thing is that they usually have it at Mitsuwa lol

  15. Detailers Domain is going to be your best online retailer, while Chemical Guys might be your local retailer. But if Autobac has 1Z, hey- go with that!!
