Weeeee, fun with the car

Well it's been a summer of hell for me and my car.....I haven't had a ton of chances to get out and flog the car like I usually would, but Saturday and SUnday finally gave me the chances I wished for!







I placed 1st in my class, and somewhere around 9th overall(waiting for official results to be posted):applause2:

Hey, cars are meant to be driven!! This car is daily driven to school, work, trips ect and then taken to the road course and autox and flogged! Plus, it's pretty fun . Thanks for the comment

Thanks! Yea, this was a CSCC event, the second and third to last events of the season. We rented out the oval at race city, which always makes for an interesting and scary course.

Haha my thoughts exactly, except that I still miss road coursing!

Yea, I'd love to come down on the next event, let me know I know I'd have fun and it would push me even more to decide on the vehicle I want...see that's just it so many vehicles too choose from I'm having a hard time choosing. After driving that AMG for the day I really want one but that will replace the rust bucket Jeep then I still get to order my toy and I'm having a hard time choosing...:wall: I just think I'm being to picky when choosing but it's going to be alot of coin so I need to make sure I'm pleased with what ever I choose :shrug:

 

Looks like a lot of fun. I use to drag race my mustang just about every weekend and it too was my DD.

 

Well there is one this upcoming sunday at the currie barracks, and one the following weekend at the barracks and at race city. I should be at both, just let me know. That will then be 6 weekends in a row of racing!:gasp: I'm sure it'll make you choose quickly, one event and you'll want to be out there doing it yourself.

Wow.....impressive. How did you find installing the DOHC motor to be? I want to throw in an aluminator and throw a KB on it with some ported heads and blower cams, but am a little reluctant.

On another note, you're welcome to co-drive with me in my car if you want and you can't get that porsche. Just a thought, we'd each get the same number of runs and everything.

I only used like 3/8ths of a tank today, not too bad considering the constant flogging I was handing it:applause2:
