Even if it's the amount of wax per the lable I still think it's done to deceive the consumer.

Not necessarily... maybe they thought the larger container would be easier to hold while in use.

lol. Did they say they would send you the glue for the repair???

On a high end wax, they should take care of it for you.

Not likely, The diameter of the container is not much different. It only has a false bottom.

no. they said if i wanted they can send me a new plastic bottom . but that wont help . i would have to remove the wax from the liner and try to get it in the new one and it might fall apart .. owell.. he said as long as the wax is fine theres nothing they can really do.

I would just do this. Their waxes are hard enough to come out in one piece. Take the wax out put it in the new container.

Expensive wax to be sure. Tell them you will take a new bottom. That way, you will have 2 jars you can show people. Just kidding,

Here is what you can do.... Take that plastic that has separated, and put it into a pan of water on the stove. Just heat the water until bubbles start to appear on the bottom of the pan. By that time, the wax might have separated from the container.

Removing it, you might be able to remove the large chuck of wax from the broken jar and place it into the new one. Then pour the melted wax back into the new one and place it into your refrigerator. You don't want to loose any of the solvent they use.

That was expensive wax. Do these instructions at your own risk. YMMV Good luck.

Tell them that you want a Crystal Rock container to replace your current container. It's the least they can do!!!

  14. I dropped my P21S 100% yesterday... I'm so happy that there was a plastic liner to save my wax from destruction!!!!

Who cares if the Jar is lined? the important thing is are you getting the amount of wax that they claim. in fact is is probably lined for just this reason, that wax you break the container and not have your wax on the floor.

  18. HAHA!!!

I was carrying a stack of 6 waxes... not the best idea :shead:
