Got a couple of new special edition pairs this week surely not everyones cup of tea but I thought they were pretty interesting. Figured someone might get a kick out of them.
why do people, especially MEN, buy such expensive shoes? i just don't get it..... my most expensive pair of shoes was a $80 pair of Lugz and second to that $30 for Kswiss
Those are some sick kicks Chris! Which Jordans are those and how much were they? Did you get them from Shoe Palace?
Why do people spends thousands of dollars on a bottle of wine or hundreds of thousands/ millions on amazing cars? It's because they like them, not quite sure what the MEN statement was but I'm pretty sure jimmy Chu's or prada shoes and coach purses cost a lot of money as well. I got them from the Jordan Flightclub they are the only place to get them afaik. They were $160.00 a pair and are a limited edition commemorating the Spike Lee Mars Blackman commercials from back in the day. Glad you like em heres the link to them. Jordan Brand
Only Jordans I have ever purchased were a few years ago when the Defining Moments package with two pair in the box. The pairs were the ones from the first championship and the other pair was from the first championship after coming out of retirement. Managed to buy two boxes from a store the day before they were released (thats all the store got) and I sold them on Ebay. Paid $600 for them and sold them in one day with buy it now options for $1500.
You should have lived in Chicago at the height of his career and the Bulls for that matter. People were getting killed for some damn shoes almost on a daily basis. People actually stopped wearing them for fear of loosing there life or getting the shit beat of them and robbed for the shoes. It was a sad time.
Oooh cool shoes, I used to own quite a few Jordan shoes as well...that was till I started wearing them and well they were no longer deemed collector items lol...but boy were they comfortable shoes
I have always worn them I have pairs that are 10+ years old that still look new but I guess that's where my detailing originally started. I never really cared about the perceived value of them as I just liked the shoes. It would be like the guys that have a Ferrari but keep it pent up in the garage never driving them for fear of damaging an investment. If you enjoy something be it shoes, cars, or high end wax for that matter don't worry about what other people think, hell you pay for the stuff right so who cares.
If by collect you mean saving them in the boxes for some future civilization like alot of people do then no. If you mean buying alot of different pairs that I like and wearing them, then YES! Jordans always seem to be so different from all the other shoes I see. I guess that's why I have always really liked them not every pair of course but they are always interesting.
