I've been banned form the Macleod Gas Station...

Well this just has to be talked about, i'm extremely livid!! I hadmy uncles 05E500 sport out this morning so I could give it a wash this morning before he gets home....well it was low on gas so I take it over the co-op gas station to fill it up only to find out they only do full service(they fill). Well ok....i'm in a rush because I'm late for work so I let them do it and I go inside to get some gum....well come back out and see this tool LEANING ON THE CAR WHILE FILLING IT!!!! Well I go nuts, pull the guy off the car and ask him what in the *explicative* are you doing leaning on the car!! Guy thinks i'm so total idiot, that it's not big deal and his jacket wont scratch anything....bull patootie! Anyways, I'm kindly told to never come back to that location for gas.....sheesh!

 

Thats why full service or not I do it myself.

That guys prolly never owned a car worth more than the fuel nozzle he pumps fuel with.

Was it the manager who asked you to not return or the flunkie runnin the hose?

 

the 'shift manager' came out...he wasn't any older then the punk filling the car...i'm pretty sure he was even younger than me and I'm only 21....

 

NJ has that law in the states, never had that problem though. I am sure there is another station that will provide proper service.

 

Yeah, i have no issues going elsewhere. If I weren't in such a rush I would have gone to a different station to fill it myself.

 

I cannot believe he was leaning on the car! When I was at the Dodge dealership not too long ago, I saw the service manager leaning against my truck when he was checking out an SRT-10.

As soon as he saw me, he moved!!! Good thing it didn't scratch my paint, phew.

:agree: with the rest of the guys here I never go to those full service places and if I do I always do it my self but to be asked to never come back man that's just wrong.

haha yeah, I think its kind of at the point of calamity now. The look on the attendants face I pulled him off the car was pretty priceless.....I think I looked like a bit of a mad man maybe

In his defense guys like us are the odd ones. Most people see cars as well....cars. Transportation that gets driven rain, sleet or snow. I just try not to put myself in a position where I would have to freak out on the general public over my over analism. My wife hates the fact that I have a Mustang I dumped $40+K into and I wont take it anywhere I have to leave it alone. Parking lots, malls, movies etc. I sorta see her point, I even get all excited when I take it to a cruise night and people walk between it and other cars. Basically, I am not happy with it anywhere but the garage. Needless to say I have more fun on my $2000 ATV where I blast through muddy fields.
