I finally did it, I placed my first order of a high end wax and I chose: I also ordered the Cleaner Fluid and the Wood Polish. If I am impressed by this wax, then my next order will be Swissvax Mystery. Just hope the wife does not find out or she will :fs:
Congrats on your purchase doc, I'm looking forward to your thoughts/results on this wax :thumb: Congrats :applause:
Congrats detaildoc!! Smargd was my higher end wax. Very nice stuff. I've always read Concorso was an awesome wax as well!!!
Currently I have 3 layers of Ultima Paint Guard Plus topped with CG 50/50 (applied the wax about 1 month ago). Do you guys think I should remove this first with the Cleaner Fluid? What if I remove everything and just apply the sealant and top it with Concorso?
well if you wanna get the true taste of the wax, I would wash your car down with Dawn... completely strip it, use the cleaner fluid and then just lay down the SV by itself... when it's worn off, then seal and top if you seal and top with the SV, you might get the full effect of the wax... the sealant may distort, or not give full effect
congrats i love concourso!!!! easy on easy off and great sheeting beading action.. plus it looks great!!!
Agree! I'll strip everything with CG CWG. When it comes to high end waxes, it is probably better to get the true effect of the wax.
I agree but, it would be interesting to do half the hood with SV Cleaner Fluid and Concorso and the other half of the hood with Ultima Paint Protection Plus, Ultima Paint Guard Plus, and SV Concorso for comparision and contrast.
I was thinking the same thing myself. I'll probably do that comparison as I am also interested in seeing if using the Cleaner Fluid makes any difference, especially since the Cleaner Fluid is kind of pricey.
