This stuff is very good. It is best to let it dwell around 5-mins and then hit it with a pressure washer. It does work like it states on the bottle. It is not quite as good as another acid wheel cleaner I use, but it is definitely safer on clear coated wheels. I currently use Flame by AutoValet and it is excellent and reasonably priced. Having said that, the stuff is incredibly harsh and should only be used by those whow know what they are doing. I find the S&R very pleasant to work with and I could see myself using it regularly for customers. I am looking forward to using more of their chemicals in my pursuit for the best detailing products on the planet. I would recommend this for dirty, oily wheels. My next victim is bug squash and bold and bright.
Poorboy's Spray and Rinse is a very nice wheel cleaner...It's strong, and I would use it on polished alluminum wheel, but since non of my cars have polished alluminum wheels, I have no issues...
So where does this fit into the heirarchy? For example (order used does not reflect true place of products when compared to each other): Meg's WB > PB S&R > P21s Gel > WG Gel > DP Tire Gel
Megs wheel brightener is the stronest! second strongest is Poorboy's Spray and rinse, then P21S gel, then Wolfgang/pinnacle/DP...
The Poorboys product is great, but the Wheel Brightner is a bit more cost efficient. If you want it a bit "milder", just dillute it more. I have it cut 4:1 and it takes care of EVERYTHING!
So far I haven't been disappointed with any of them, I have used the Black hole, Bug Squash (great product) and now I have white diamond and QD+ to try, the QD+ was a shipping error, which is cool. New stuff to try
SPRAY & WIPE! Poorboy's golden product, truly a staple product. Takes some getting use to, but by far the most useful QD I use.
