I saw this @Autopia and thought might be useful to have it here, with Clean dean's permission I hope: YouTube - Clean Dean Auto Detailing Buffing Demo
Good call Gemini13 !!! In the DVD I use many different products from various companies. I generically referred to the products used (foaming glass cleaner, APC, Lubricated Quick Detailer), and wanted to focus on detailing techniques as opposed to products. If you are familiar with some my threads here and on other forums, you can pretty much figure out that I do like Hi-Temp products, 3M, Menzerna, Meguiars, Stoners, Klasse, and many others. I have tried many different products over the past 10 years, and have come to the realization that the end results attained by detailers with various detailing products are in the eye of the beholder. Very subjective, especially at this level of the quest for automotive perfection !!!:thumb: BTW.. I just added this 30 second clip on youtube . looks good Dean ! is this a one off dvd or will there be more dvds to follow ? if so, then what more will be covered in the further volumes ? i'm interested in getting one yeah. how much for postage to Australia ?
buja, Our (my partners) plans are to produce a follow-up DVD that will focus more on paint correction (wet sanding, buffing, lsp) and extreme interior detailing. The goal of volume 2 will be to demonstrate what a good detailing is worth in $$$. Volume one was created more for the detailing enthusiast, and focuses on teaching techniques that I have learned through hands on detailing for the past 10 years. Most professional detailers who have purchsed the DVD have also responded positively toward the DVD and enjoyed it. Shipping outside to US is flat at $15.
Hey how about a review on the video guys, I'm looking at ordering the video for my self, you can always learn something new and I'm all about learning.
yeah me too. I would appreciate more details of the things covered in volume 1. also do you have an eta on vol 2 ? maybe I should wait for vol 2 to be released then order them both at once , instead of paying for postage twice ?
its kind of hard to see how good the job really is. from the youtube video, it appeals nice already, most likely it will look sharp in real life.
