We are looking for a new car for the wife and was thinking about the GL.... Until I found out it was made in the US..... Same reason I didnt want to go for the X5. She also didnt like Q7. We are waiting for the new RX350 to come out and maybe the MDX..... I was shooting for the X5
I think the GL and the X5 are both very nice vehicles, but yes, built in the US and I know you're not a big fan of that. How about a nice little Volvo XC90???

Did you happen to get any interior shots? I know you mentioned the technology gadgetry, so I was curious what it had inside and how everything was laid out. Damn nice looking car and great work!
Sorry, didn't get to take any interior shots. But I'll be back and I'll take some. When it came time to move it, I had to figure out for a second how to start the thing and put it in drive!!! A few things I loved: 1) The gauge cluster is just an LCD screen! 2) Night vision! 3) Suede headliner! 5) Rear seats move back and forth 6) Massaging seats, sooooooo nice... 7) All bolsters in the seats are adjustable, and SUPER quickly! You can either be completely tight in your chair where you cannot move, or be completely relaxed. 8) Auto levelling suspension! 9) Auto closing doors 10) An amazing stereo.. 11) Panorama roof! Remember, I drive a Dodge Ram. So most of this might not sound special to you guys, but for me, it was techie heaven! :thud:
Got to love the AMG madness here. Great work again on black without polishing!!! I wonder if I will ever have one that does not need a day or two of polishing.
P1et..that Black looks great..you did a real nice job bringing the gloss up a notch... Zaino has a great look to it and can rival a nice wax finish.... Awesome job Al
This car is pure sex!! I love it! I can't believe I missed this post! BTW I have plenty of ZAIO if you want to "test drive" before you buy. Let me know when you're going to place the order with Sal because I need me some Z8 as well. Oh yeah, the 'hood just isn't the same without you... :afro:
Cody, hadn't spoken to you in a while! How are the new neighbors? Are it the ones we feared it would be? Otherwise you'll have an Escalade on 28s in your 'hood, hahahaha... I just placed an order with Phil, another one with Duragloss and probably one coming up soon with ADS. Still got quite a bit of Zaino left, but I might just take you up on that ZAIO!!!
The new neighbors are the polar opposite of what we speculated. :afro: The male looks like you plus 5 years yet with no taste in autos and the female is just meh -she drives a chrysler or a dodge 4 door of some sort. They look nice enough but no formal meeting as of yet. The 'hood just isn't the same without you guys. On another note, R & I love the coffee shop near you & C. I'm referring to Thunderbird on Woodrow & Koenig; it is fantastic -it's our new Sunday morning hang out. If you could arrange a Sunday morning detail at your new crib, I'm sure C & R could occupy themselves with a paper & a massive cup of joe while the boyz work. Could have major potential my friend... Haven't seen many MOD posts in a while. BTW the ZAIO is calling your name my friend.
I, too, had missed this post. What an impressive machine, morevoer, what an impressive job there mate!!
MATE great news on the neighbors then! :thumb: Yes, T-bird is fantastic. Haven't been there myself, but C has been there and my parents made a few walks down there when they were staying with us. I must give it a try soon. I've got the R32 coming over on Saturday for a farewell detail, he's selling it sadly enough... :shakehead:
Outstanding as always P1et! Love the reflection shots! But what gives no interior pics? I know how much you use to love to do interiors. :giggle:
