Jetseal and swissvax

I have some swissvax on the way and i also have the pre wax cleaner. Swissvax says the cleaner is needed. Can i use jetseal if i use the swissvax cleaner and if so, which one do i use first

 

Wolfpacker and Fminus can help you out with this, they like topping jetseal with a nuba.

 

Use the cleaner fluid first, then the Jetseal, leave it on for at least 15 minutes, buff it off and wait 20 minutes then you can apply the Swissvax.

 

Wolf have you personally used a swissvax wax over jetseal? I know I have never personally come across a post where someone has. If you have can you please post some more info on this.

 

im pretty sure fminus uses jetseal for protection than layers swissvax/zymol on top of it. However, I know he doesnt use any prewax cleaners.

 

Now that I think about it you are probally right, yea thats what I am wondering about with the use of the cleaner.

 

I've used Swissvax Saphir over Jetseal before. I always use either Lusso Revitalizing Creme or DG 501 (my favorite pre wax cleaner) under Jetseal before topping with a nuba.

Now I hardly ever use a sealant and top if off with a wax but wouldn't the cleaner fluid cause any bonding issues with Jetseal?

I agree, I think I would use one or the other. I think the SV Cleaner Fluids oils may enhance the looks of SV but then if you use a sealant it may improve the durability slightly, that is providing you use a durable sealant. I have heard mixed reviews on JS109, some say it is durable and I have heard others say it wasn't.

 

Id use one or the other for sure, but thats just my opinion, havent tried it yet. I doubt I will, I feel like putting Swissvax over a sealant is just a waste of an expensive wax.

 

When I get my Divine in, I am going to do 1/3 a trunk lid on the M5 with SV CF and one without and one w JS.

I will report my results and findings. So there will be none of this "I think" or "I feel" waste of comments where people are just guessing.

But even with my findings I still think it will be subjective. Bottom line, try it out yourself. Pay to play.... stop guessing

 

Its different with every wax Phil. Ever try topping JS with Oro? Dulls the paint real bad.

I was told this too and didn't use Oro over Jetseal and then one day I decided to try it and this is what I got:

I've had success with nubas over Jetseal everytime.

 

Hmm, dont know what to tell ya. Might have to try it again on my black car then. But it didnt look good on the Bentley at all, thats for sure.
