i don't have any 3M pads so i can't help you there but if you go with the 3M pads you can buy'em directly from 3M's site ... Product Catalog
you can never have to many pads... Nica/FMINUS can help you out on this one :thumb:..IIRC the two them use the blue Ultrafina pads from 3M..i think there go to pads for polishing are sonus pads from Eshine http://www.detailingbliss.com/forum/f56/only-have-few-sonus-pads-left-1752.html
I also uses sfx pads....love them very much.....since I have them my LC have been collecting dust I love how soft and the extra "cushion" they have. I also love the round edge
I use the wool pads, blue ultrafina pads and have the yellow backing plate. I like their wool pads better than others, backing plate is nothing special but it does have one helluva a velcro grip, and the ultrafina pads are very soft and work finishing polishes very nicely.
As far as the 3M US pads I've only used there wool pads. I purchased the blue 3M polishing pad and wasen't really impressed with it. The rest of the 3M pads I have are all UK pads...so my experiance with the US products are limited. One thing about 3M they have been around the block and know what they are doing so I'm sure there pads will perform well...but that's ust me eace:
