I was looking at there product GLARE ZERO......intresting writeing for what it does and how it does it, pricey stuff.
Meh. I tested it several years ago and was not impressed. Shine OK, durability OK, solvent based polymer system (old skool sealant tech). Product performance claims are total BS. They totally made up the word, "glassplexin". Too much marketing hype, not enough product performance.
If you want to try a cheaper version of Glare....go to ebay and look up Fire Glaze....or go to Honda and get Honda Glare polish....both are made by glare and have been said they are the same as the Glare polish/sealant....for way less also... Al
Glare works great for me, it really is best used by rotary or orbital Zero is magnificent and once I've done the whole system by machine and sealed it up with three coats of glare pro polish, it's locked in and even the orange peel is covered over permanently
This is 10 year old factory Ford Tickford paint (the blue one) (admittedly in superb condition after Menzerna x 3 over four years) after the entire Glare system including Zero This paint had medium amounts of orange peel, now almost all is buried Colour is superb, no holograms, buff marks, swirls or scratches in full sunlight The spoiler (top piece) is unpainted by the way and was done by rotary with something unique (top secret and not available to buy) DreamMachines - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
:shead: :thud: If it can fill in OP, then could it fill in 2000 grit sanding marks? Heck I have had OP that I can't remove with an air sander using abralon 2000 grit discs.
Read the fine print, Could last up to five years, so COULD your average carnuba too is if was never washed, in the sun, driven, ect ect
It is not a 'BAD' product.I realy do not know why so many people are so intent on knocking it.If you put aside their marketing/claims,and take the product for what it is,you may be pleasantly surprised. Dream machines Knows his stuff when it comes to Glare.I have been very impresed by his videos that show the results of using Glare products and i would love to see more videos relating to the use of these products.
Thanks Wise I don't care for their claims, just use them the way they state on the labels and a pleasant surprise will come your way This is my first choice for doing my car as never again will I be removing clearcoat and the slickness is sensational The strength that GLARE has over all other products is it's ability to bury orange peel that is in the clearcoat, under the Glass like coating There are four coats of pro polish on my car at the moment. I do love using Zero, the other day I made a six inch long horizontal scratch that was not quite into the metal totally dissappear from a black BMW X5's paintwork
