Just to show it does not always rain here. Some times it freezes.

27* degree day, Monthly washes on 3 cars. Finished two. Landcruiser and Highlander. Will be finishing the m6 on friday.

The silly car was freezing over as fast as i could wipe.

    Cell phone pics, my apologies.

Attached is a 2" round brush wrapped in a microfiber. At full steam it will hold 300* at 100psi for over 40 min. Kevin Farrel at clean car told me it would do 30 min. I had to put it to the test. During this time of the year i have found that all of my exterior plastics, tires, wheels are just not coming clean. I need to clean things 2-3 times. Not any more with this. Apply my cleaner, agitate with steamer with MF attached and poof, it is clean. Wheels are a snap now.

Even to my strict interior standards the steamer has reduced my interior cleaning time by about 2 hours. Considering i usually put 8 or more into interior detailing i am quite happy. Normally i would clean in passes, using several types of cleaning procedures to get a vehicle clean. While i still do this, the initial phases of my interior cleaning process has become much more effective.

I had previously looked at steamers here in seattle, daimler and the TR5.

They will work fine for interior detailing. The problem is they don't have enough heat, large enough boiler, strong enough heater, and pressure to really do extended exterior details. You can kind of get them to work, sorta. I talked with Kevin Farrel at Kleen car. We talked about what i wanted to do specifically, why i wanted it, and what it had to achieve.

    that left one.

There are lot of reasons i chose this one. Kevin has listed a few on his site.
It's not cheap. but it is in my opinion worth it. Again i may not use it like others would.
