Clear Coat Prevention?

    If you can find / know of a good experienced painter they can 'blend and level' the clear coat so that you'll hardly notice the repair, others probably won't be able to tell

    Thanks for all the feedback boys. For now, it's only the roof that's suffering. You have to love an unprotected vehicle with the Texas sun beating down on it all day long.

    Hey P1et, im new to this forum and been researching for a while, ive seen alot of your work and very impressive, about your clear coat peeling, the best way is bring it to a reputable bodyshop and they can wetsand the roof panel and respray it with clear coat. This is not something new to them because when they fix a deep scratch on for example a door, they have to wetsand the whole door or maybe the following panel depending on the color and condition and they'll spray some clear coat to match the following panel. I think its worth it...

    You should check out the 1 series. The 135 (same as the 335 only smaller) is supposed to start around $35k :thumb:
