Took delivery of this 2002 Miata SE this past weekend. Car is in pretty good shape for the most part for it's age and mileage. I was excited to see how the metallic gray would turn out! Unfortunately the color made it very difficult to take pictures of the defects in the paint even with the appropriate environment. Therefore this will be one of my smaller threads. Maybe everyone looking is happy about that instead of having to scroll through so many 50/50 shots lol. Getting started early as usual... The suds Clayed, dried, masked, spoiler, taillight masks, and reflectors all pulled... Interesting how the color under the spoiler is completely different! Spoiler and taillight masks will be repainted soon for a fresher, more updated look. Walking around trying to get the camera to focus on the imperfections... These "during" shots were the best I could do Before: After: Hood looking better... Before: After: Sealant on and putting her to bed... Touched up under the engine bay a bit, nothing too special... Let's pull her out and hope for some sun shots! Killer reflections! Thanks for looking!
