Although the body was pretty straight and in great overall shape for being a 2006, the pictures reveal that it obviously needed some serious correction and protection. I didn't think it was this bad when I first saw the truck until after I had clayed it and put it under the lights. I knew it had some serious reflection potential though! I received some new goodies for Christmas from my awesome in-laws so I was excited to try them. At 2:20am my wife told me to knock it off and come to bed, lol. As it arrived at 8:00am... Clay bar was consistently dirty, especially on the front. Under the lights... This loooong scratch took a couple of passes but it finally left Showing some signs of improvement! Middle of the night I finally made it around to the other side... Nice reflections going on here. Too bad the sun had mostly gone down already.
Nice work looks great. I just finished same make and model and year. I used a coating on the one i did. Power lock is one of the favorite sealants goes on smooth and wipes off sooooo easy and its really slick feeling.
