As someone who does detailing AND car audio, I have had very little time to clean my car from the winter months. With the ongoing work load my car has been trashed! My car sees days of tools and or detailing supplies. With the purchase of a second vehicle a few weeks ago (2002 Ford Escape) I plan on finally cutting down on using the altima as a work car. Thinking about maintaining two vehicles with cleaning I decided 22ple was the best option for both of them. A lot less work on my part trying to tear off mountains of bugs every week. I debated about opti coat for a little while but wanted a bit more shine hence going with glass. I was pretty excited to try some new products out as well with this detail 1z plastic deep cleaner was one of them. Products used: 1z Plastic Deep Cleaner Adams wash mit Adams Detail spray (finally used it all!!) Adams clay Adams Carpet and upholstery cleaner CG Silk Pre-Wow & WOW Auto Finesse Lather Auto Finesse Gloss CG Bug and tar wash CG Metal polish 22ple Glass CG wheel cleaner EZ Detail Brush CG V7 Menzerna FG400 Flex IPA Interior before Took me about 10 minutes to take everything out of the car. Thank god for weathertech mats Months of putting stuff back here other than people. Because i got so into cleaning it, I forgot to take more photos Shampooing the seats really brought up some nasty stuff, not as abd as my customers cars but still dirty. Next was the exterior. My new favorite wash. It does take a bit more soap ro make a good amount of suds however its much sleeker than others I have used. The car had a lot of road grime as well as bugs, I decided to do a pre soak with CG bug and tag wash and lather. No more wax Bird droppings I had not taken care of a few weeks prior The pre soak went very well, normally with a foam gun everything just runs off. With this mixture everything stuck longer. Quick picture of the wheels cleaned. Time for the wow, this stuff is pretty amazing I will say that. I moved so fast into polishing that by the time I was done I didn't have any pictures. However the after's are amazing. Also I received my order of 5 liters of lather and my gloss tire shine today, thanks whoever included these! I am once again very happy with the results I am getting from 22ple. Hopefully this will last a while.
Fantastic job! I've always loved those Altima coupes, you don't see too many of them. I've never seen that color before, I like it though.
Thank you, they are even more rare with a manual trans. You are correct in they are rare. I see a ton of four doors around my area but only z few coupes Indeed you do. It's a temp until I get my mosconi 6to8. I also have focal KRX2's But will be adding a 3 inch mid range as well as 2 focal FPS 4.160's. Head unit is a Alpine W910. The sub is a focal K2 11 inch that I will start the fiberglass enclosure this week. The whole system will be running active as it is right now. I was debating on going with Hertz Mille 3 ways or morel but decided to try to keep everything the same.
BEautiful color and great reflections!! I too spotted the Ms-8. I've read good things about the mosconi unit. I'm sure it sounds great not though..
Nice work! Never saw that color on the coupe before, it looks sweet!...My Maxima is the same color and I need to do some work on this weekend.
After 3 days of rain the coating was on it's last day of curing. So I decided to give her a good was to see if I could see any difference. Here is what I found. Bugs Amazingly in my heavily wooded area I get hit pretty hard with bugs on my front bumper. With a quick rinse with a hose over 85% of them were gone. During washing the rest simply wiped off simply amazing. Washing Two things I noticed while washing it, soap doesn't stick at all matter of fact whatever dirt was on the surface really wasn't stuck either. Shine I will say the depth and shine increased quite a bit in the curing process. A frined and member here say my car today and was jaw dropped with the clarity and depth of the paint. I have to agree with him. I smile every time I am looking at it.
Thank you, yes the ms8 has it's place but not in my future system. It is a pain going through the setup and tuning with it sense you have to redo all parameters each time. Thank you and hopefully you get some amazing results with your black cherry car spa.
Wanted to give an update on the 22 a year into it. So far it's been holding up very well. Only two things I have noticed. Have to clay the entire car still as the surface has become rough. And nothing protects against my dam cats jumping on it with dirty pays and scratching the paint. Have noticed the front bumper needing a re-coating as it gets the majority of impact from bugs and other debris Will be doing another cleaning soon so show what it looks like.
