My Newest Tool!!

Saturday weather over here was horrible.. snow was falling big time, no surprise it was in the forecast.

I called the customer On Friday that was scheduled for Saturday (word of mouth new customer) and asked if we could reschedule and he stated that he really wanted to keep the appointment... I told him it would take me quite awhile to get there in the weather that was on the forecast and he told me he would pay me my hourly rate even whilst driving.. So I took the offer

On the way to his house I passed his place and pulled into the next driveway to turn around, these houses have tons of land and are backset so I figured I'd take the driveway until it got to the house and turn around.. well the driveway had some fresh snow and guess what was underneath.. ICE.. so I was stuck - good thing I leave way early for new customers and especially when weather is bad

I was stuck good, I got my "claw" attachment for my rigid vac and dug myself out a little and then hit the gas in reverse and it moved a little, when I let up off the gas the car would rock forward.. I basically had to time the gas pedal just right a few times to "rock" myself out of this mess... not fun!!

So I got out and to the customer on time..

The interior had some tough stains that were a PITA to get out..my process was spray chemicals, let dwell, scrub and in one hand steam the carpet and the other hand I had my rigid to slurp everything up - with the steamer, rigid and halogens I was blew a fuse in his garage.. At that moment I told myself I would not do another interior without an extractor - had to move quick considering my next job was 5 days away.

I had been looking at a ninja BUT I just cant give up that much space in my vehicle when traveling to a job.. so I got a little small portable extractor for $200..

I know some have questioned the quality of any non aztec/mytee portable extractor so a major consideration was service depots.. I have four withing a handfull of miles that service this brand "Sanitaire"...

Cant wait to use it this week

Any suggestions on what to run through this thing to clean it out?? I was thinking hot water and vinegar but how much?

 

Awesome toy buddy...I want one....Use good water like DI or Distilled water....:thumb:
