The Mini doesn't look to bad but you soon see the difference once finished. Some pic's, I have tried it by timing the dwell time so you can see how it fairs, temp outside was about 10 to 15c product Some befores Applied Avalanche 2 mins in 4 mins in 6 mins in Rinsed off I have not touched the paintwork in anyway LSP quite safe still showing good protection and sheeting (protection applied 2 months ago) A few afters of it finished A friends BMW 7 Series, that avalanche has got it's work cut out, same process as the mini
Your mini looks great. Do you have anything on your trim at all? Did you tell your friend to not wash their car for 5 months so you could test this snow soap? That BMW was nasty! What if anything do you have to compare this to?
The Mini's trim is dressed with Auto Finesse revive. that was just a months worth of dirty, bad isn't it. The dwell time is a little lower than most snow foams out there (C.Guys/valet pro), due to not being a thicker foam but cleaning power is good cuts through the dirty, also making the rinse very quick and easy.
Impressive results! Is avalanche suppose to be LSP safe in that it can be used for maintenance washes? If so, by just adding more soap the the foam cannon mixture, will it be effective in stripping lsp's?
Yes it is LSP safe and can be used for your maintenance washes without it effecting your LSP, Avalanche has some of the same powerful detergent and environmentally friendly solvent found in Citrus Power, even at full strength it will not strip your LSP but drop the durability if you was to keep using it at full strength.
Mine hopefully arrives today. Can't wait to try it out on a perfect vehicle that is absolutely filthy I have lined up.
No Bunky, I never touched the paintwork in anyway, It was snow foamed left to dwell and then pressure washed off after about 10 mins The foam is not as thick as ones I have used before so clinging time to the car was less, so you do get more run off with this foam.:thumb:
Wow, cracking results! Avalanche is LSP safe, its intended use was for maintenance washing, not one off deep cleaning or wax stripping.
I've used it several times with great results. I have also added about an ounce of citrus power to give it a little kick (twice). Dwell time is really good and it works extremely well. It doesn't strip wax, but it might weaken it if it's already on it's last legs.
Also you can add abit of AF Lather shampoo and that can help with the foam to stay alittle longer if need be.
Hmmm, so can this potentially serve as sort of a wash without doing the two bucket, where my car isnt that dirty?
Lather is ph7 (neutral), this has been tested even using it directly on the paintwork and the LSP was still there after the test It is good for removing light surface dust when you don't have time to do a full wash process I generally have three that I go too AF Lather, Dodo Juice BTBM and Britemax Clean Max.
