For 2-4k they shouldn't have any marring coming out of the box. That's like getting a 10k paint job with swrils.

Use a spray on, walk away, no-touch type product (Zaino Clear Seal or G-Techniq )

    i agree,
but im not sure how this could be applied to forged aluminum.

its soft enough that even the packing could have marred the surface.

the chrome finish on wheels is just to mirror looking.
the polished finish looks alot better.

the difference is barely noticeable unless the trained eye catches it.

Look into sahrkhide aluminum sealer to protect them. Opti-coat is supposed to work as well.

I can't offer any great advice.

I have a Stash of a particular metal polish I like ALOT....Heavy Metal Polish. I did get a letter in the mail that the company was sold. Not sure whether it still exists or not. IMO it's a amazing metal polish.

However, IMO, the more high polished u get, the more the hydroscopic the metal becomes - aka, it absorbs more. I leave them raw, even they they oxidize quicker.
I don't like the look of any product on metal. IMO, it takes away from the *optical quality* of what a well done high polished metal aluminum looks like..
