Well what the hell. I still have about 4 gallons or so of my 5 gallon of the original formula.

I've just decided I'm not satisfied with the product. May I have 110% replaced with the new formula? :thumb:

50% fewer passes to get even and streak free, and more slickness sounds great. What prompted the reformulation?

Lol, I was getting at complaints (which I haven't ever seen or heard of any), VOC compliance, etc...

LOL. Just evolution baby! We try to stay on top of things from a "leading" edge standpoint whenever we can, and this is one area where we can. The formula hadn't been touched in awhile, and the new results from it were WELL WORTH the new release!

Its the only product in our entire lineup that hasn't seen a change in 13 years... so definitely wasn't something I took lightly (I personally am in charge of product testing and development)

Started out to just see IF we could make it better. Ease of use is a big factor... not that the old stuff was horrible to work with, but we did make it streak less, and require less wiping.

The bigger improvement is the wax booster... testing showed up to 2 months of add durability on a wax coat if the car was washed weekly and dried with the new formula, with a few wipe downs during the week.

Unlike the original formula this version actually does deposit some meaningful protection. Its definitely not going to replace using a wax or sealant, but it will help extend the life of those top coats.

Good information. Certainly sounds like a good improvement. Congrats on the success of the reformulation. I'd love to try it out.

The less you wipe and touch your car the less chance you have of introducing swirls.

I still dont understand the point of using a masterblaster and other touchless methods assuming you got every square inch of the car spotless when you follow up touching the paint with this or any "detail spray", your just asking for it. Ill gladly take the chance of having to apply a wax or sealant 1-2 months sooner to prevent having to polish out very minor swirls every time I wax my ride

None the less, good luck with the reformulation :thumb: is that even a word? :shead:
