    What is an IPA wipe?

Its alcohol, its a step after polishing that removes the oils and anything else on the panel before applying wax, sealant etc. Its a very important step.........alot of polishes can leave behind oils that if left will not allow the wax to properly adhere to the panel, but it also can be used to see what defects are in the paintwork, before, during and after the polishing stage.

If I do a non corrective detail, I still do a IPA wipe even if its a wash, decon clay and wax........... just an extra step but I feel its important

What type of goods do you use to do the IPA wipe? And what is your dilution?

Like do you dip a MF towel in the solution or what?

ah, no, I put a 30-50% dilution in a 32 oz spray bottle and then mist the panel and wipe down with a MF.......

others have different dilutions. There are products out there too like carpro eraser, menzerna top inspection that do the same thing but take the guess work out of dilutions.
