Miracle Detail present Porsche 997 c2s cab, corrected with Rupes Bigfoot! 180pics+ and HD video.

Hi Guys,

Hope everyone is keeping well and getting ready for Christmas and the winter times!!!

A lovely Porsche 997C2s cab came in for a Ultimate Detail, consisting of, Gtechniq Exo coating applied to wheels, paintwork, calipers and door shuts. C4 Gtechniq trim restorer on the black plastics that had turned grey, Gtechniq T1 tyre dressing used on the tyres, Rupes Bigfoot LHR21, LHR15, and LHR75 where used for paint correction with Rupes Zephir and Diamond gloss using Rupes Green and white buffing pads, roof treated with Gtechniq I1, interior steam cleaned and leather cleaned with Swissvax leather cleaner and conditioned with Zaino leather in a bottle (still my all time favourite). Exhausts cleaned with Tardis and Britemax metal twins. Porsche interior floor matts wet vac'd and steamed. Glass coated with Gtechniq G1.

Awesome job. That polisher looks interesting. Is it similar to the Flex XC3401?

 

No this is something totally different, 21 or 15mm orbits, 3 machines, 40% quicker correction than rotary, safer, no heat, no buffer trails or problems with sticky paint, hard or soft paint, its the future and all I use now for last 4 months or so, so easy and stress free, its made detailing so much fun now!

0ver 7000 watts of metal halide lamps, 150 watts each, and a few 400 watt ones too.

Looks good Paul, really nice finish.

Also a good idea to cover the wheels, though I have to say that I hated covering the wheels with film.
I bought a set of Sealey CCW4 covers, the car can roll around with them fitted, and water doesn't seem to get through the fabric. A much better solution IMO.
