A new client contacted me about getting his Gallardo fully detailed. It has never really been detailed before so he was looking for the very best I had to offer. So I suggested a concours level detail which consisted of full paint correction near 99.9% perfect, full interior detail, wheel correction/detail, engine bay and under-carriage cleaning. Paint wasn't in to bad of shape. Had rids all over as well as some deep scrathes that needed wet sanding. It was very had to capture the defect with the color and my camera.. i tried my best lol Total hours spent around 50. Process- Wash/Decon Normal wash using 2bm Iron cut clay IPA Paint correction: Wet sanding M105/D300 wool pad M105/300 MF DA PF2500 Orange Rotary 85rd Blue Rotary Rims: Megs APC Megs WB Iron cut clayed PF2500 green DA Sealed with Wolfs Rim shield Interior: Vac Leatherique prestine clean Leather masters cleaner, vital, protection cream Carbon parts- Poli-seal LSP Powerlock 2 coats Lusso Oro On to the paintwork... About 90% better Deep cluster of scratches near the edge so extreme caution was taken... Improvement After final polish On to the wheels and under-carriage... And final the after pics... There was no sun out so the spray booth will do for now lol... Thanks for looking. Any questions feel free to ask.
awesome work, makes me want to get into detailing even more.... now to find some 'spare' cars to test on...
Thank you! Do it!! lol I love detailing, but sometimes can be mentally draining haha. especially reaching the 50hr mark. Go to the junk yard pick up a hood or a door to practice correcting on. thats usually the best way... you mess up, dont matter
Excellent work. I love that color. After about the twelve hour mark I could easily seeing that job transitioning from, "Cool, workin' on a Lambo" to "What a g-d bunch of fussy little cavities and hard to work on details."
