Hi guys, Decided to throw out my 2 year old polishes and buy new stuff... What compounds/pads would you suggest for Monaco Blue BMW X5? I thought of getting Meguiar's D300, but it seems like people here suggest it might leave some hazing on BMW paint and I will need something else to follow up with. Menzerna 203 on Green Uber pad? Any other suggestions? P.S. The other car I have is in my avatar - red 928. If at all possible, I would like to be able to use whatever compounds I end with on that car as well. Car is in its original single stage Guards Red color... Thanks!
I use D300 on a microfiber cutting pad on my Carbon Black X5M. It leaves minimal haze, if any. From there, i go directly to Menzerna SF4000 on a green uber pad. I've found this combo to be really very effective on BMW paint. Can't go wrong.
