How this kind of stuff gets out of the factory..........................

    After compounding steps.

    This got missed as well.

After four passes with M101, and two passes with D300.

Roof was not looking so hot, deep marring.

    Paint is now defect free.

    Tips needed some attention.

    "Cleaness"

    Working in the engine bay.

    Just a light cleaning needed.

Optional forged wheels looking their best..............tires with matte satin sheen.

    Alcantara interior needed little.

Looks great Bob. I'm still amazed at how bad the finish is from the factory. 4 passes with 101 to remove some of it? Brutal. Just brutal.

I have AC in the shop, but when it gets above 85 degrees it gets stuffy. I ordered a Kuulair KA55 which I saw @ SEMA last year which is also portable and will lower the temps by 15 degrees(Kuulair claim) so that will help..................Bing in Orlando with the TropicalNESS conditions has a COLD AC unit with 1700 BTU for his garage and sets it in the mid 60's as right now without that he would be up S**t Creek with that humidity. (90 plus with 90 percent humidity index).

Yes Ken this is how the car always come from Ferrari, actually this one had some of this best paint over all I have seen on the 458's, look at Dave's(Streetdreams) write up.............that Spider 458 was "Jacked up".

Looks great Bob! Any problems with the humidity from the swamp cooler? Like to much humidity? Any of the units I ever saw cool but the drawback is the HIGH humidity. Hence the reason the Bing has got a traditional AC unit. I Florida swamp coolers in the garage would mean a wet death!

    impressionante!

I too am looking into some portable cooling units, heat here in SC...especially in enclosed garages without duct work can be sheer torture, and robs ALL the fun out of detailing!

I'm not sure which way to go :shakehead:
