I know some of the heavy hitting pros don't bother offering maintenance wash programs as the yield is too small, the time investment doesn't make sense, and their schedules are full of corrections. But how do you guys handle maintenance washes for your clients? I mean, you don't want to get their car back to pristine shape only to have them tunnel wash their car again and bring them back to square one. I assume most of you do some level of educating?
My business consists of all types of customers..the ones i see once or twice a year for full details only, others I see once or twice a year for full details and then a couple other visits for smaller cleanups, and then the ones (who I like the most) who I will do one or two really good details with polishing, a couple visits that are designated for waxing a couple times a year, and then my signature mini details in between. I see some people once a week for my mini details, some people every other week, some once a month. My signature mini detail includes a thorough vacuum, wipe down of interior, dusting, and interior windows. Exterior wash, wheels, door jams wiped out, Aquawax to paint, glass, wheels and door jams, tire shine. I would say that this is a bit more than just a "wash". I generally don't do quick exterior washes alone unless it is a car that doesn't get driven much and I must see it once a week. I am mobile BTW.
Almost identical to me even down to the mobile part. I just make them get a full detail before they can get on a maintenance schedule. Only exception is opti guard with full correction.
