I just got back from rinsing Mr. 's truck and the rims are a total mess. The line was long at the car wash so I could not let anything dwell or use my brushes. All I did was rinse them with the pressure washer. I can't use the hose at home, it's frozen. I have SCG Absolutely Aluminum Perfect Polish, however his rims are alloy. I don't want to use ARO because I know I will not be able to rinse them clean. Any suggestions? I think I will have to go back to the car wash after dark so people don't kill me for taking up the car wash bay and using my own brushes. Before After a water only rinse [Well back to the ONR wash and ponder this dilemma :shead: Thanks in advace for any suggestions!
If I were you and in that situation, I'd use some like Meguiars Quik Detailer and a Microfibre. If that's not cleaning them, then use Megs QD and clay bar and then just spray with the QD at the end to give them a final rinse. Best of luck.
p21s is a really safe wheel cleaner, if isome is left on the wheels it wont damage them I would scrub some some p21s and then wash the wheel with ONR so clean the rim like your normlay would then wash it with ONR... both products are very safe so there should no worry of damage..... and when you get the chance go spray it off to be sure just my 2 cents
OK thanks guys. I am concerned with ONR or P21S flinging on the paint. You know I am obsessed with the wheels being clean. I guess I will have to be extra careful :giggle:
Some QD should work just fine for now until you can give them a good scrubbing. Just use some old MF towels. They will get dirty.
you will have no problem, remebr those rims are painted so neither of those products will harm the paint... and if you do get a little splatter mix up some onr QD and srpray the section and wipe... priblem solved
Yes I could not look at it any longer. :thud: Heck I was afraid it was bringing down the property value :rollinglaugh: It was really bad. Here are some before pics. I will post up later. I need to get busy on the ONR wash. As my New York girl friend would say..... "it's totaled"

Tonya...use some AIO on a MF towel...and clean then...you will get the best of both worlds..cleaned and some protection....the barrel section you can clean during the spring...just clean the wheel face with AIO...wrap the MF around 2 fingers..a little AIO on it and clean...lol... AL
