My wife just picked up her first new car, still under 200 miles on it. She asked me to "do it up" lol...im looking for a good sealant for the white color. Any suggestions? Ive wanted to give CG's Black light a shot.
I used Prima HydroSeal on our white pearlized Sienna. It seemed to 'darken' the shine a bit but I'm happy with the results. Very easy to apply and remove.
Best combo I've used on white (and I've tried a bunch: Duragloss 501 Duragloss 105 After 24 hours hit it with Duragloss Aqua Wax Wait 24hrs Be blinded by the bling
CG Jetseal 109, WGDGPS, or Meguires #21 have all been great on white for me. You really gotta top blacklight with a sealant or wax. BL is more of a vanity product than needs to be topped IMO.
this is like the 5th time someone has mentioned Werkstat Acrylic Jett Trigger..... I really need to get me some of this stuff
Blacklight and V7...........awesome results, long lasting as well. best part if you are like me and do a post wash wipe down all you are doing is topping up the V7 adding to the durability.
Honestly, Turtle wax ICE looks great on white.... Until it rains and falls off. 1Z Glanz wax looks good
I detailed a white 1988 convertible Mercedes 560S for a friend of mine. It is a single stage paint. I used BFWD and topped it with Lusso Oro and the shine was amazing. Of course, you have to make sure that all imperfections are taken care of first or else, it won't matter if you put a $10K wax. It is all in the preparation.
