Just got it on Friday, just in time to try it out Sat. morning on some wheels and door jambs. So far I love it. Very well built with plenty of power. I was kind of expecting it to be weak and cheaply built, but I was very surprised with how solid it is. Great little DA. Perfect for those tight spots that the PC cant reach. It came as a bundle with the 6 pads and a couple MF towels.
How are the quality of the pads it came with? I am considering getting something like this for doing sport bikes.
Thats actually what I used it for first, my brothers BMW bike and it worked great. Got into all the tight spots the PC was too big for. The pads are very good quality. The orange is the same as an orange LC pad, blue is a little softer and the red is very fine.
Its a great machine! Dave Saunders (Street Dreams) recommended it and he couldn't have been more right about how useful it is. Super smooth and fits in so many places the larger ones can't go. Give it a try with the 3" Megs MF cutting disc and finishing disc. It works really nicely with those and that brings the profile even lower to fit into even tighter spots. Congrats! Hope you enjoy it!
I got mine about a week ago as well and found that even with little pressure it would not spin(spreading polish/sealant 2-3) but it did get in those tight areas very easily.
