"detailed" Bentley

I was at a GTR certified Nissan dealer to pick up a few things for my 370z. They had one in the showroom so I thought I would check it out. :headbang:

So on my way back to my car, I see a sweet Bentley park beside me. Out pops a sideways hat, baggy pants wearing kid with a micro fiber cloth touching up his work... Yikes! I'm thinking he must have just washed it...

I saw something similiar with a black MB E350 with the same fresh swirled look :shakehead:

 

It looked good at the factory. :/

 

Am I blind or do those tires look a little blotchy on the Bentley?

Gotta love those 3d paint jobs...

 

Who put those chrome wheels on a Bentley? Good god man, we're not savages!

poor car....moment of silence everyone...hope it gets a real correction soon.

 

I have my fingers crossed that's not the bentley I have booked in this summer.

 

the best part about those wheels are the are some of the cheapest wheels Tirerack sells....... that is offensive, they are heavy cast boat anchors. I would expect a gentleman to be atleast rolling on something forged, not something cheap and SHITTAY..........

 

I have no idea why someone would take their Bentley to a Nissan dealer for a detail... Must be the owners wife's car. Who knows.

that is what i was going to say........ The attorney I used to work for, well his wife has a GT-speed and drives it like an accord. Tunnel washes and all.

 

The condition of the paint; the wheels....just goes to show some people have money to burn but don't know where to turn.

If detailing and my other business doesn't work out I think I'm going to become an automotive consultant.

 

It would explain the cheap ass wheels on the Bentley too. Most dealership guys hate to spend more than they have to, on anything.

 

at least the tires are legit, and not some Wanli crap, I was at my GMC dealership last month, some guy was yapping about his 24" forged wheels, I walked by and he was rocking Wanli tires. Really? You drop 6k on wheels but went with tires that cost less then my boat trailer tires? People see shit on Cribs, and emulate it, but refuse to pay for quality. What is funnier is people that have cars that come with really nice forged wheels, and swap them out for whatever is on sale at Americas tire.......

Someone like that would need extensive schooling about what a proper detail is, then they would surely nickel and dime you to death. I would be up for the challenge. I've had many customers like that in the past.
