This is one of the first cars this season for a winter prep.

Our winter prep is geared towards protecting the car for the winter months.

With this particular car the customer will be bringing it back to us in the spring to get a full paint correction, it has never been done and it does show.

    This includes:

    - Wheels were prepped with Sonax Wheel Cleaner and cleaned up with various brushes
    - Tires were spritzed down with Adam’s All Purpose Cleaner and washed down
    - Wheel wells were cleaned up
    - Pre Washed with W99
    - Iron Cut
    - Wash down and rinsed
    - Door jambs were cleaned up
    - Clayed
    - Dried
    - Tires dressed
    - Last Step – 1Z einszett Glanz Wax
    - Wheel wells were cleaned and dressed
    - Rubber and Plastics Treated
    - Exterior windows and mirrors cleaned and sealed
    - Exhaust tips cleaned
    - Windows were clayed, cleaned, and sealed

Looks good the blue really did pop. What dressing did you use on the tires? Very glossy as well.

I also own a Sprint Blue S4 (hard not to love the color)! Anyway, I've been using Collinite 845 over Powerlock for my winter prep. How do you think that stands up against the Glanz Wax used above? Durability is more important to me than looks in our harsh New England winters but I have to say I am very intrigued given the stunning result shown here.

That color and car just pops.
That clay looked nasty, brings up another question.
Any reason to iron x before the clay and not the other way around? I don't have an iron remover, so I'm just curious.

Thanks guys! The iron cut will remove a lot of the contaminants, hence giving the clay bar less work which means less chances of marring the paint with the clay bar.
