I have recently switched from LC pads to the 5.5 ubers and I am very happy, but I need more pads. I started looking and saw ADS 6 pads $27 Buff & Shine 5.5" 6-Pack Special Are the pads the same foam and quality? I like the ubers I like Phil but this is a good deal compared to http://www.detailersdomain.com/5-Pack-Uber-Foam-Pad-55-inch_p_297.html Which ones to buy?
I have bought from both and they seem to be the same pad. The ADS sale is a great price. I bought 12 the last time they were on sale. Maybe Phil can price match?
only major difference is that the velcro area on the uber pads is cut specifically for the 5.5" backing plate with no over hang.......... I have both, they perform the same.
It's not worth it driving down to pick it up around $80 in gas and I have to dedicate a whole day. I can order from 604 detailing in Canada 5 for $35.99 for 5 and wait for their 20% off sale. This is $4.70/pad, 604 will be $5.50/pad so not a whole not of savings.... The worst part is my 'rents goes to America fairly often I ask them bring stuff back even if I have someone hand deliver it the answer is still NO

There probably going to be a tad cheaper when released.. 3.25 is $6.99 5.25 is $8.99 6.25 is $10.99 People were having problems with Velcro backing of Meg's tearing off when not using the approved BP, I think OPT will pay special attention to this problem I think their rumored to work with all machines, like FLEX 3401 and maybe CYCLO and Rotary's although you don't really need it for the rotary.
I guess I will just get the optimum mf polishing pad, hyper polish and their backplate. I can skip the cutting pad, as I have the surbuf and uber orange already. The only uber I find useful is the orange, green and blue.
