^That is a very good tip. It will save you loads of money. If you don't mind me asking where did you end up ordering from.
No problem... It will take me a little while to figure out what to use where, when to use it, and how to use it properly. I have just enough to get me into all kinds of trouble, I don't need to make things any more complicated than they already are. lol Thanks for the good advice!
He certainly put some time and effort into that shipment, ensuring there were no leaks, and if there were...it wouldn't contaminate anything else. That's nice to see.
I know! He even double boxed it. I am impressed! Actually, the LC orange pads came from his personal stock because they were out of stock in the store! Talk about customer service!
You would of saved some cash if you bought from eShine with their Lake Country kits and Porter Cable kits plus the tax. Otherwise nice collection
Trust me when I say I'm a savvy shopper, I did just fine with my purchase from Auto Obsessed and am very happy with their customer service. Thanks for your concern.
Great start! No grit guards though? Getting a few empty spray bottles will be nice for the Optimum Power Clean as well. Agreed Troy offers great service. When I was in a jam a little while back I was able to meet up with him to borrow a Griot's polisher to finish a job since my BP failed on me. How many people go out of their way to do something like that for a customer? Major props.
I do have a bunch of spray bottles, just need to buy a funnel. I don't have grit gaurds yet, but I do have two buckets, I'll have to be careful. I also picked up a leaf blower on sale from HD and I have some brushes for rims/tires. Still need to find some IPA. I hope to have time to try my hand at a correction this weekend, my DD needs it badly.
Nice purchase! Some really good stuff in there. I'm personally not a big fan of those pads, I've got a ton lying around that I'll never use...
This will be my first time working with a DA so I won't notice a difference with regards to the pads, what pads do you use/like? If you want to sell some of the pads laying around let me know, maybe we can work something out.
Nice a leaf blower is an awesome investment. There's always so much water stuck in the cracks and crevices. When you detail your DD, I'd recommend getting some green painter's tape and covering up the rubber trim. The polish can stain the trim and it may even get damaged. Best of luck with the detail!
Nice collection to start with, I have a lot of the items that you have in your collection, you will be really happy with the m105/m205 paired with the PC. I just used my PC with m105/m205 on my car and Im pretty happy with the end result. Not bad for a first time DA correction for me. Im going to second the step of taping all the black trim off with painter's tape. The PC's vibration can take some time to get use to it. I also live in the GTA, its great to keep meeting people who live so close. Look forward to seeing photos of your detailing of your DD. Enjoy!
