I may get crucified for this but do you just throw them in the wash, by themselves? I have read somewhere that you can wash them with pad rejuvenator...any truth? What is the best process?
I am actually washing a load of towels right now. I use micro-restore http://www.detailersdomain.com/MicroRestore-Microfiber-Detergent_p_126.html I set the washer to whatever size load, warm wash/rinse, and the double rinse setting as well. When they are done, I put them in the dryer on easy-care setting, with NO fabric softener. Hope this helps.
I keep my towels seperated, interior, exterior, trim............. wash them seperatley, dry them seperatley. I use CG microfiber wash. I presoak the them too in mild APC solution in buckets prior to washing. Dry them on no heat Its an all day event.
basically what I'm doing now, except for the micro restore. I don't use fabric softener on my clothes so my micro fibre is safe in that regard.
And who donĀ“t still have a microrestore detergent or CG microfiber wash? Is better wash them with dish detergent or a laundry soap without softner?
Most people add a cup to their rinse cycle, but I've been experimenting with soaking my microfiber in a 50/50 h20 : vinegar solution before washing. It smells awful, but seems to be effective.
BTW, I just reread your original post, and yes, polishing pad rejuvenator is perfectly fine to use on mf's.
