yes I do it's worked well for us, a new favorite though would be the Meg's Microfiber Compound plus Menzerna Super Finish

 

Does it dust less than SIP?

Hello I'm newbie detailer here:
Mazda Protege 5
m105 - LC orange
m205 - LC white

 

Looks awesome for a "newbie".

 

Not really a great pic, but you get the idea. I'm still a noob but this truck really gave me a lot of experience. I did it as a favor in return for him using the truck to pick up a motorcycle with me. Ended up spending 35 hours on this thing.

2004 Silverado 170k on it, never detailed. The doors were worse than the hood, but I didn't get any good pictures.

after I followed up with orange and menz pf, and I think uber green 85rd (can't remember)

p.s. anyone needing info on Audi's, Phil is the man. Gave me a ton of info on the '03 rs6 when i was on the market for one!

Had a problem with lint with the towels I was using on this particular job.

 

Wow! I didn't think GTR's have been around long enough to look that bad. You did a great job as usual!

first time ever using my PC

 

KIA Soul A pillars and tail light. The paint was difficult to get good 50/50 shots from so these will have to do lol
This black paint was suuuper soft. It would scratch using a soft MF and lubricated with QD

Menzerna Power Finish, Uber green, 7424XP. I finished it later with Super Finish and an Uber blue.

I did this a couple years ago on the rims of my old car. Hopelessly pitted with brake dust. No match for sand paper!
After 800 grit


Then I did 1000, 1500, and 2000 grits. Then used 3M Rubbing Compound and a power cone

 

they look pretty bad when new too.

 

SOme cool shots so far. Dug around and found these....

 

911fanatic, would you happen to know what was used to correct the paint? Especially on the blue car? thanks.
