Need to know the best way to remove a dealer sticker that has been on for 5 or 6 years and has been polished, waxed over and tons of sealant. Is there a product or someone said use a hair dryer?

goo gone will not hurt the paint. i would still use a heat gun first and then spray the goo gone. be prepared to polish that panel.

heat gun > adhesive remover > polish in that order. You'll probably have to polish the "ghosting" if its been on that long.

What they said. Hair dryer/heat gun - adhesive remover ( 3M, Goo Gone ) - polish to remove ghosting.

I would definetly try a hairdryer first, before a heatgun.

Thanks for the help. I bought some Goo gonre but didn't use it. I used my wifes hair dryer then Banana Gloss to get the adhesive off.

I just got a car and it has a dealer sticker next to the license plate, it seems pretty flat since it is a sticker and not an emblem. Will try a hairdyer since I don't have a heat gun. Other than that there really is not other way unles you can safely get once side of the sticker safely up, correct?
