follow the instructions on the can EXACTLY (including the positioning of the vents providing air through the top vents and not the floor vents) and you will have no problems. You do need to put the air on full blast 20 mins after application for a few minutes also.

do i apply it threw the center vent and only the center vent or can apply to front driver, center and passenger vents as well?

no only the center vent. its the closest to the evaporator core.

Just make sure you read the directions on the bottle and you should be fine. I tried it out this weekend and it worked great! You might have a slight "cleaner smell" that lingers for a few days (there's still a slight scent from it in my car), but I'm sure that'll go away pretty soon.

I just picked some of this up since now that it's spring/summer my AC is running. All that old mildew smell - it smells like a wet dog when I turn on the AC.

Strange; but my cabin filter was just replaced in November (3000 miles ago); will it still need a replacement?

I wouldn't bother...as long as you change them per manufacturer's recommendations you should be fine...

Thanks. I figured it would be overkill too.
