Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while. Been a little busy. Anyhow, I'm way behind on write ups so the next few will be abbreviated. I've been after this client for over a year to get this done but financial constraints meant we've had to postpone it. We agreed ( I told him ) it would need at least a two stage polish as it was in very poor condition and I knew the owner well. Could have used a three stage. Washed with RG Washmitt and Exclusive Soap Wheels, tires, inner fenders cleaned with Exclusive APC undiluted Jambs and fuel filler area cleaned with Exlusive APC at 3:1 Clayed with Exclusive Medium Clay and clay lube. First stage of polishing was done with Megs 105 / Menz S500 and B&S Yellow / Hydrotech Cyan on Flex 3403 rotary Second stage was Menz 106FA on B&S Green via PC 7424 LSP was Colli 845. Interior wiped down with Exclusive Interior Cleaner and Werkstat Essential towels Glass cleaned with Exclusive Glass Cleaner and WW Glass towels Tires dressed with Exclusive Tire Dressing Total Time - Approx 20 hours The car upon delivery. Guess he didn't realize these need to be cleaned regularly. :shakehead: Exhaust tips looking, well, like crap. Sad thing is, even on a cloudy day, I didn't need a light to see all the damage. Exclusive APC soaking on tires, wheels and wells. After a light scrubbing and rinse. Close up of same wheel. I guess BMW is German for Smithrite! OH NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! I found three of these Halls stuck to the carpet. Doesn't everyone just spit them onto the floor when your done with them? Exclusive Medium Clay after one panel! Yikes! Nasty paint. I jokingly told him to stop parking it in his hedge. He apologized and said it was only twice. WTF! A couple 50/50s for you. Colli 845 hazing on hood. Afters Thanks for looking.
Amazing work as always man! When will the Exclusive line be available for all us to purchase??:thumb:
I think it was all the work up to the wax that made the car look amazing. I can't believe how badly that car was treated!! Great job.
That looks great! Are the drinking and driving laws up there not as bad as the states? Amazing what you can find in a car.
Fantastic work Ken!!, since you "Know" this guy, you should have took him aside and said "Are you f-ng stupid or something".........., I can see it now "Officer of course I have not been drinking why do you ask?", reply by LE "Oh the bottle of 151 gave me pause you HUMP!!!". That just for starters..........cough drops on the carpet?, hedge marks?, "I only did twice..." yes two times to many, of course the statement it "Needed three steps" belies serious "Cheapness" as that car was abused........oh sorry Ken off the soapbox now. Canucks are just working the Sharks as predicted................: , the game the other night was turned off by the second period..."The twins are abusing the sharks defensemen"
Bob, thats how he's treated all his cars since I've known him. He's not a car guy, but he likes driving nice stuff. He had a Navigator once that, after two weeks, looked like it had 100,000 miles on it. Just horrible. But he paid the bill in cash so all is good! Sharks had a good game game last night though, We played most of the game with one guy in the box and didn't score on two five-on-threes we had! WTF! Your guys deserved the win last night.
ken is it legal to drive a convertible in british columbia? nice turn around. i understand the drive nice cars part but cough drops in a bimmer wow.
