What would you guys get? I like collecting quick detailers so my next purchase is either one or the other I have Poorboys Spray and Wipe but I was wondering how Spray and Gloss compares to it. Or should I get CG V7 I order by the gallon and all 3 are $33 each for a gallon so price is not an issue, what do you guys like more let me know.:shead: So far I have the following: Prima Slick CG Pro Detailer Poorboys Spray & Wipe Optimum Instant Detailer Mothers Showtime
V7 without a doubt. Much easier to use, looks great, and tolerates application in the sun better than Spray and Wipe.
Christian thanks man, I just remembered about DG AW since you have both which do you like more and is easiest to use?
I use Spray&Wipe lots especially for claying and love it plus it smells soooo good. Anyways how you liking Prima Slick so far? Only difference between the two PB's qds you listed is the Spray&Gloss adds a lot of gloss whereas Spray&Wipe does not.
Thanks for the reply as for Prima Slick its the best quick detailer I have ever had I am really glad I have a gallon of it. It spreads easily, leaves the finish really nice and...slick
you know the Pro detailer is worth getting as well, I love it and prefer it over the CG Synthetic detailer, but I guess its more my mood. The Pro does leave a different look, hard to explain, but its worth it. Right now its like 20.00 CG direct.
Duragloss AquaWax is a very nice product. I like like zaino Z6 and Grand Finale and both smells great too
I have it man CG Pro detailer is great, and I had CG Synthetic Detailer but I didnt really like it as much left the finish wit ha plasticy look. Pro detailer was my favorite until I got Prima Slick, but I am still going to reload on it either way I am between this and CG V7 right now
i gotta try this v7 stuff ive been reading about, i passed up on it the other week figuring it was just another qd I'm curious, and i hope im not the only one. Do any of you guys dilute your qd? The reason I ask is, i'm not particularly expecting anything other than the paint to be pure as possible after claying, since I plan on doing paint correction. I havent noticed any of my clay bars being affected by the dilution and i find it to be very cost efficient as I use it as my AIO wipe. I do have a regular concentration bottle that I use on my own cars that I wash and just park. I find myself using the 1:1 concentration of QD a lot more often in regards to preping my car for a polish. After the polishing stage I also use IPA so the purity of the QD is irrelevant to me at this point. As for the V7, where do you use it in a paint correction process? after sealant, before wax? LSP after seal and wax? Thanks in advance!
I have CG Pro, DG AW, FK 425, Adam's Detail Spray, and CG V7 V7 and DG AW offer the most protection, I prefer CG V7 at the moment. I go back and forth. It smells great and it super easy to apply. FK 425 and Adam's I use as a drying aid when I'm washing in the Miami daylight, they work excellently. CG Pro I use sometimes also, I feel that it sort of evens out the paint, it is my go-to product for when I need to give a little gloss to a customer's car. Totally worth the buy right now, it's like 19$ at CG. Also to Whip Appeal Neil, I use V7 as the final stage of paint correction, after your last coat of LSP. I use it as a quality-control mechanism to make sure I got every spot.
I use the CG Go-Green with carnauba and kaolin clay followed by the V-7. I love it, so slick, incredible shine and fast! I order both by the gallons!
