Im new to this, so i beg the more experienced members of this art to be nice For what reasons would someone want to use these: http://detailersdomain.com/carcareproducts/KwazarMercuryPro53Pack.html Compared to these: Plastic Spray Bottles, Empty Spray Bottles in Stock - ULINE I read once that the more expensive sprayers are built to withstand the harsh chemicals we use. Is that true, and if so is that the only good reason?
I have been using the Kwazar ones for a while now. I have gotten used to them and I used a regular spray bottle the other day. I didn't realize how much better and easier the Kwazar ones are. They are VERY worth the money. It makes spraying tire dressing, clay lube, int. Dressing etc. SO much better. I didn't realize how spoiled I was with them. Spend the extra money and get those, plus they are much better quality and will last longer.
The atomizing level for QD is unmatched! Its like it just vaporizes in thin air. Every cool for wheel cleaning, undercarriage dressing, citrus degreaser, clay lube and QD.
Sorry to be the odd man out but I have had a lot of trouble with the triggers on the Kwazar bottles. I bought approx. 30 of them for my detail shop and over half of the triggers have stopped working or only work for one pump. Phil has been great about replacing them but I just stopped dealing with it and started using my old triggers on the kwazar bottles. I must tell you that I have a detail shop that uses these bottles all day every day. You may have better luck than me if you don't use it as much as I do. Good luck
lol yea i wasnt that impressed with them either. i prefer the pump up atomizers if i need a high volume of liquid to be sprayed. for normal items that require less than 10-20 squirts per car i just use sams club proforce 32oz bottles. 6 for $7 dont get me wrong the kwazar double actions are good quality. i just think they are at least $5 overpriced(i personally think they are worth like $8.99 each, tops), plus they basically dont have any price breaks. im sure i could get in on a 100 or a 1000 and still think the price per unit is too high.
Ill throw my hat in too...... I was not impressed with them, nice....... but IMO not really a must for me, and I would rather put my money elsewhere, the USplastics with them Chem resistant sprayers work perfect for me. For spraying down an entire car, Ill use my bug sprayer, or even clay baring which is the only time I really need a lot of product.........standard works for me perfect.
I use USP Big Blaster 24oz sprayers and they are great for every task. But my Kwazar is my favorite sprayer its only used with Slick, since I purchased a gallon of Prima Slick I had an excuse to try out a Mercury Pro. Man does it atomize Slick really well making it land on the surface evenly so when I come to wipe it, it spreads easily with minimal to no streaking at all. My Mercury Pro makes quick detailing with Prima Slick a breeze.
I have about 6 or 7 and I have had one issue with the trigger one one of them. It's sitting in my garage for now bit that's the only one that gave me problems. Still works but only one pump not both
If you don't feel like spending for the kwazars, the chem resistant tolco sprayers that are definitely a good option, as kilo6 said. They also have a nice feel to them when spraying, better than all the sprayers I get by default from products.
I have 3 of the kwazars for certain uses (sonax wheel cleaner, onr for claying) but I also use the widemouth spray bottle from usplastics. The double spray is a bit much for uses such as window cleaner. IMO it puts out to much product with a full spray and doesnt seem to work as well with half a pump. they are great bottle though.
I have one kwazar that I got from Franki that I really like for clay lube. I also have 4 wide mouth sprayers that I love foreverything else, very nice sprayer! Sent from my HTC Vision using Tapatalk
