im looking for a little help in the way of getting an idea of how much i can sell my macbook pro for. here's the skinny on it....i bought it used 2 years ago. its 3 years old 15" screen 75 gig HD here's whats not so great about it. previous owner must have spilled something on the keyboard, so none of them work. i do have a really nice matching apple low profile (stainless/alum and white) keyboard i use with it and its works fine that way. the track pad doesnt work, so i used a separate mouse just fine. its scratched up to the right of the track pad and has other random scratches throughout. there's also a light stain under the screen at the very bottom that isnt really noticeable. i think thats it :giggle:. all in all its a little beat, but it does what it needs to do. i just dont really need it anymore, and could use some extra cash to pump into my little renovation project. any help would be appreciated.
If i had to be real honest with you, its probably only worth 100~200 bucks at most since technology gets bumped up so quickly and your model is at least 3 generations behind, especially low with a broken keyboard and track pad
Do a advance search on Ebay of closed auctons for that model to gauge what it might be worth. Macs hold there value better than most PC's
