Had a customer just purchase this car for this car for his wife about 2 weeks ago, knowing the condition of the paint. I dropped by when he was purchasing it, at night and this car was right under the light. Then the car salesman proceeds to tell him and me that the paint is in good condition and those marks are just standard used car paint results. Long story short, my customer told the sales man he did not know what he was talking about, and they ended up knocked off 1k.

As shown the dealer buffed this car and left the worst swirls and monogramming that I have ever seen. And what made it worse is that they did not remove any or the marring or scratches.
3 step polish was performed and 4 step on some specific areas.

How long did you have to wait for the lusso wax to cure, after each application

Nice job on the FX. I owned one for over 7 years. Just curious, did you hose down the engine after soaping it? If so, did you remove the cover under the engine prior to doing it? I only ever cleaned my motor when I did my oil changes.

    Really nice job!

How do you go about using Dawn to remove the old wax? How much of the dawn do you need to ad to your water bucket and how big is the bucket?

I always use ADAMS APC and general rubber weather stripping which a get at any hardware store. I rub the rubber against the plastic and it puls the wax out. Just make sure its lubercated with APC

I only took that 1 pic for some reson but after the rinse i removed all the covers and cleaned the rest with just APC and towels. Then the covers were put back on and dressed

Using the 2 bucket system, so 5 gallon buckets, i used about 5-7 oz of dawn. After the wash with dawn i washed it again with lusso car wash too.
