Just noticed this stuff ... Not quite sure what to make of it. Seems to be an interior sealant that kills odor causing bacteria but I t'ain't sure. Any users? Anybody know what the heck it is? http://detailersdomain.com/carcareproducts/car_pro/1142.html
Its a interior air sanitizer for your vents and entire interior it kills bacteria and other foul odors. This is what I have gotten out of the description. I have Cquartz on my mustang gt and Reload coming in to maintain it, I have to say after using Cquartz I am sold on other Carpro products.
It's not a sealant whatsoever. What it is, is a germ-killer that kills odors associated with anything that causes them. It needs to react to light to activate. I have recommended it to a few people who had spilled milk, fish and other stinky odors that were not being removed through other means. In every case, the SoPure killed the odor. It is a dis-service to this product to be strictly sold as an odor remover, it is so much more.
My question is can you top it with anything for uv protection, say you spray it on your dash, then put whatever on top of it, will that stop sopure from working?
This is one of the first Carpro products I ever used and was extremely impressed with it. I sprayed it in my own car and could not tell any difference as my car was extremely clean, but the moment I used it on a car that had been smoked in, it worked nothing short of a miracle. Great stuff!
You could top it with PERL, but I would give it a few days and make sure the odor is gone first. Your bigger priority is obviously the odor, right? Get it gone first and then worry about making it look dressed.
I plan on using it in a car that was smoked in as well. Did you spray it onto every surface inside the car or just specific ones? and how much of your bottle did it use up?
as Richy said, better to let it work first then to coat something on it, also always beter for the sopure to spray above everything. spray it all over , dash, air con. holes, ceiling, seats. interior plastics. , the 120ml should do all the car .
Cool thx for the info, my main concern was will sopure stop working after putting something else on top of it even after allowing it to fully bond to a surface
Richy and Avi beat me to it! All over everything, including a little in the air vents to facilitate it being circulated through the HVAC system.
