The sun came out and I took the opportunity to get some shots. I was a little bit dissapointed with the condition. It wasn't too bad!

    Now it is much better!!!!!!!!!!

Well, lets see what can be done

Much better, about an hour later. There are 2 rids remaining, not possible to eliminate as they are down to the metal.

Aren't you suppose to tape up the trim

Yes! But the vertical panels are not AS bad as the horizontals so I don't have to be that aggressive and to be honest, I have polished a few times before so if I am careful, I can get the job done without any damage.

Indeed, one should always tape up the trim.

actually i always polish the black trim like the one on this car. when I had my 2006 325i I polished them to the point that they were glossy, and everyone thought I had shadowline trim... try polishing it with a small pad and some finishing polish, you will love the results. you might want to apply 1Z gummi Pflege or Swissvax Seal feed to the rubber seals before polishing, as they absorb the polish right up if not.

hamza - Here is the roof from the previous day during polishing - I think you'd like it.

The car needed to be done by 6pm but I couldn't do it fast enough since it had to be washed againt to get rid of all the dust. Delivered it at 8pm.

Some more during pictures as I worked my way around the car. Not 100% but very close. I could have used another day for sure.

    You using Gtechniq P1?

HD UNO, but did use some for polishing as I was running too low. I stepped on the UNO bottle (small size) while moving away from the car and half of it was wasted. It was the old version, and now all of it is gone. But a fresh bottle came in yesterday.

I had high hopes for P1, but it can't touch HD UNO or 105. It is a good medium polish at best.

    Dang that looks good.

Its hard to believe you are doing that level of correction for a dealer.
