Purchased K. 5.85 M & Foam Lance

Well last night I finally decided to invest in the pressure washer I have been wanting. I got the Karcher K 5.85 M. I also ordered a foam lance with the attachments for a Karcher. I will now be able to snow foam and pressure wash my vehicle.

i still have one from previous house owners. still works good. got foam blaster from home depot. works great. i wonder how it compares to type you got

Well I got the K 5.85 M in today I put it together (handle and some attachments) and then tested it out. Its really nice and quite, it shoots out enough water with plenty of pressure for my needs. Its also looks well built; not cheap like other electric pressure washers I have seen. I am happy with my purchase and can't wait to get the foam lance in either tomorrow or monday, so I can snowfoam my mustang gt.

 

I got the foam lance from PWM in today and I put it together. I can wait to use it on my mustang gt, unfortunately its going to be like 2 weeks before I do since I am in the middle of applying Cquartz (I applied it 3/4 of the car then ran out so I am waiting for my second 30mls to come in this week from Phil). I am going to use it on my girls ride this week though just to try it out Here are some picks of the K 5.85 M and the Foam lance. I also picked up a quick disconnect for the pressure washer so the hose can swivel and not break the connection.

 

Just wanted to update how the K 5.85 M and the PWM foam lance worked out. This was on my girlfriends Scion TC. 2 oz CG Maxisuds II and 900mls of filtered water.

the quick disconnect is the brass connection at the bottom left hand corner of the PW correct? where the garden hose would connect to.
